|For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not
perish but have eternal life. 17 God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world,
but to save the world through him.|

Faith Wesleyan Church in Rockford IL.
Synopsis: Human beings are influenced by other human beings. It’s not a
matter of whether or not we have influence, but what kind of influence we have.
Christians are to be the positive influencers of all time. Sadly, Christians are losing
traction in this department. Pew Research reveals that Christian influence over the
culture is in decline. When asked, Do yo think Evangelical Christians are having an
increasing or decreasing influence on life in your country, the responses were
overwhelmingly negative. Even 82% of U.S. Evangelical leaders said Christian influence
over culture is decreasing. 53% percent from the U.S. said the state of evangelicalism is
worse off than it was 5 years ago, while nearly half expect that downward trend to
continue. That Christian influence is on the decline is accurate, but who is getting the
blame isn’t. Christians blame secularism. That’s only partly true.
